Assistant Store Supervisor

Job Summary

Men's Wearhouse is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Store Supervisor to support daily retail operations and team performance. The ideal candidate will assist with employee supervision, customer service, sales activities, merchandise organization, inventory management, and store standards while helping create a professional and welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations
• Supervise and support team members during assigned shifts
• Help coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and shift coverage
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to employees
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with product questions and purchasing needs
• Support sales goals, promotions, and store performance initiatives
• Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and replenishing merchandise
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
• Maintain organized clothing displays, sales areas, and stockrooms
• Support visual merchandising and promotional activities
• Assist with point-of-sale and cash-handling procedures
• Help maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Train new employees on store policies and customer-service standards
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Address routine customer and operational concerns
• Support loss-prevention and store-security procedures
• Communicate store updates and issues to management
• Follow company policies and operational standards
• Perform other supervisory and retail duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous retail, sales, customer service, or supervisory experience is preferred
• Previous assistant manager, team lead, or department supervisor experience is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer-service abilities
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to motivate and support team members
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic computer and point-of-sale knowledge
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends when required

Pay: $18.26 - $22.93 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
