About The Company We are a design-build Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) construction company based in Southern California, specializing in taking residential projects from the initial site visit through final inspection. The company currently completes approximately 50 ADU projects annually and is expanding its operations with a goal of reaching 100 builds per year within the next 18 months.

With multiple projects running simultaneously within a focused service area, the company emphasizes quality workmanship, efficient project management, strong homeowner communication, and timely project delivery. This role reports directly to the President and offers an opportunity to grow with an expanding construction team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced residential construction professional to manage finish work, coordinate subcontractors, and take projects from final punch list through successful closeout. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and capable of keeping jobsites organized, schedules on track, and homeowners informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage finish work, pickup work, and punch lists across multiple active residential construction projects.
• Take ownership of projects from final punch list through final inspection and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and jobsite activities to maintain project schedules.
• Review construction plans and identify potential issues early to prevent rework and callbacks.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress photos, and project updates using Buildertrend.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and keep them informed about project progress.
• Resolve jobsite issues independently and ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of residential construction experience, including finish work and project closeout.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and identify potential construction issues.
• Strong jobsite management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on trade experience in framing, concrete, finish carpentry, or similar residential construction trades is highly valued.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and multiple active projects.
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Residence within approximately 20-30 minutes of Upland, California, to support a manageable commute and long-term stability.
