Assistant Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an operations-driven Assistant Supply Chain Manager responsible for overseeing daily store fulfilment, inventory continuity, and supplier operations in a fast-paced F&B operations environment, while managing a 4PL partner to coordinate logistics execution. The role drives cross-functional business projects: including campaign planning, supplier negotiations, and central kitchen project, bridging day-to-day operational management with structured, data-driven procurement and long-term supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Outlet Replenishment & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily stock availability and fulfilment across all retail outlets to maintain continuous store inventory levels.
• Monitor stock movement, forecast store-level demand, and manage localized replenishment schedules to prevent stockout risks.
• Coordinate stock allocation during high-volume periods, promotions, and supply chain disruptions.

4PL & Logistics Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact with the 4PL provider.
• Review 4PL performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, escalating and resolving service gaps across the wider logistics network.
• Conduct ongoing cost-centre management, evaluating warehouse storage expenses, stores delivery and inbound timings to optimize overall logistics spend.
• Support the structuring and renewal of formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the 4PL and any directly managed partners.

Vendor Management & Procurement

• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for external suppliers, freight forwarders, and trade vendors.
• Lead end-to-end Request for Quotations (RFQs), commercial contract negotiations, and joint vendor planning to secure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
• Build high-integrity, long-term vendor partnerships to ensure supply resilience, quick lead times, and priority support during market shortages.

Cross-Functional Project Coordination

• Coordinate campaign planning cycles with marketing, sales, and store operations teams, ensuring supply chain readiness (stock, logistics, and vendor capacity) ahead of promotional periods.
• Drive supplier negotiation projects from scoping through execution, aligning commercial terms with business budgets and category strategies.
• Support the central kitchen project, coordinating between operations, procurement, and logistics stakeholders on setup, supply flow design, and vendor/4PL onboarding.
• Track project timelines and deliverables, flagging risks and dependencies to leadership in a timely manner.

Operational Troubleshooting & Risk Mitigation

• Resolve daily supply chain bottlenecks, delivery delays, quality disputes, and invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Implement structured inventory control mechanisms to minimize perishable wastage, stock write-offs, and store-level fulfilment errors.
• Streamline manual logistics processes by introducing standardized tracking, clear handover procedures, and improved inter-departmental workflows.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Reporting

• Track and report on core operational metrics, including 4PL/supplier performance, fulfilment accuracy, inventory turnover, and overall logistics expenditure.

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in End-to-End Supply Chain Operations, Strategic Procurement, Vendor Management, 4PL/3PL & Warehouse SLA Negotiation, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Cross-Functional Project Coordination.

• Core Strengths - Commercial Integrity, High-Pressure Problem Solving, Data-Driven Process Optimization, Vendor Negotiations, Stakeholder Management.

• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand forecasting software).
