Assistant System Analyst/ System Analyst

Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from Sales, Customer Service, Retail, and Operations
• Produce functional specs, user stories, process flows, data mapping, and acceptance criteria
• Analyze end-to-end telecom processes: customer onboarding, sales, service activation, billing touchpoints, complaints, and case resolution

System Design & Development

• Participate in application design: solution architecture, module design, database design, API/integration design, and technical specifications
• Develop and maintain application code for CRM, Sales POS, and Case Management systems (enhancements, integrations, scripts, utilities)
• Build proofs of concept, automation tools, and internal utilities using modern development practices
• Follow coding standards, version control, code review, and release procedures

Testing & Release

• Support unit testing, SIT/UAT, defect fixing, and go-live activities
• Prepare and review test cases; validate fixes before production release
• Coordinate with QA, infrastructure, and vendors on releases and deployments

Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot production issues across applications and integrations (root cause analysis, log analysis, data investigation)
• Provide timely incident response and workaround solutions; drive permanent fixes with the development team
• Monitor recurring issues and recommend design/code improvements to improve stability and performance

AI & Modern Development

• Use AI-assisted development and vibe coding tools to speed up analysis, coding, documentation, and prototyping
• Explore AI use cases (case categorization, knowledge retrieval, agent assist, workflow automation)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Application Analyst, or Developer-Analyst in an applications development team, supporting or developing CRM, Sales POS, and/or Case Management applications.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and release management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as System Analyst
