About the role
This is a teaching support position working alongside a lead teacher to plan and implement daily lesson plans, support classroom management, and engage with students to encourage participation and learning.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans
- Support classroom management and maintain a safe and organized environment
- Engage with students to encourage participation and learning
- Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
About you
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
