Assistant Teachers

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education. This role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students, and fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide support to children with special needs, ensuring their inclusion in classroom activities.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring safety and promoting social skills.
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Support the development of children’s cognitive, social, and emotional skills through interactive activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus.
• Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
• Experience with infant care or toddler care is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A patient, caring demeanor with a genuine love for educating young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
