Assistant to Investment Manager

Responsibilities

·        Assist in handling the day-to-day legal and compliance matters of the listed company, including contract review, legal documentation, and records management.

·        Conduct industry research and analysis, continuously monitoring macroeconomic conditions, policies and industry developments, and supporting investment decisions through data collection and analysis.

·        Handle post-investment management and support by tracking the performance of invested projects, assisting in preparing post-investment management reports, and participating in negotiations and decision support work for investment projects.

·        Review financial statements and conduct basic financial analysis, providing preliminary legal and compliance input to management.

·        Support legal and compliance procedures in relation to resumption of trading, including liaising with external advisers, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

·        Provide legal and administrative support to the Board and senior management, and undertake ad hoc assignments and projects as required.

Requirements

·        Master’s degree in Law is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Law will also be considered if possess strong relevant experience.

·        At least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant in a Hong Kong listed company or in a similar capacity, with a sound understanding of listed company operations and the relevant regulatory framework.

·        Experience in external investment projects of a listed company, including participation in due diligence and assistance in preparing feasibility studies, due diligence reports and investment proposals.

·        Solid basic knowledge of finance and accounting, with the ability to read and interpret financial statements and perform financial analysis.

·        Familiar with the full process and regulatory requirements relating to listed company announcements, with the ability to handle announcement-related work independently.

·        Experience in handling resumption of trading for a listed company will be a strong advantage.

·        Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a must.

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.

·        Candidates with relevant work experience in both Mainland China and Hong Kong is preferred
