Assistant to Property Manager

Self-Employed Property Management Assistant (Part-Time) – Iowa City / Coralville / North Liberty

Starting Pay: $15/hr (higher with Realtor’s license or verified handyman experience)
Hours: 5–20 hrs/week to start – flexible schedule
Employment Type: Self-Employed / 1099 Contractor

About the Role:
I’m a property manager and real estate agent who uses a wheelchair. Looking for a dependable, motivated person to be my “boots on the ground” in the Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty area. This is a flexible self-employed position with room to grow as our property management company expands.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and post notices or information at properties
• Show rental units (if you hold a Realtor’s license)
• Perform light maintenance (changing lightbulbs, reprogramming electronic deadbolts)
• Handle small repair or project work if you have handyman experience
• Assist with light cleaning; deep cleaning projects available if interested

Requirements:

• Must live in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty or surrounding areas
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills and access to a computer
• Must pass a background check
• No age restrictions – we value reliability and initiative
