Assistant Underwriter

About the role

Working within a small team, you'll be responsible for the efficient management of a portfolio of clients.  You will:

• Respond to enquiries and requests for action from clients within SLA’s
• Process quotations, new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations
• Build and maintain positive relationships
• Prepare renewal and consolidation terms including renewal pre-work and importing of data into systems
• Ensure accuracy of all processed information on all policies
• Assist with the lodgement and management of client claims within the portfolio
• Liaise with insurance brokers and develop strong relationships

What you will offer

• Possess a minimum of a year's experience in the insurance field
• Be able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, utilising your superb organisational and time management abilities
• Display well developed communication skills allowing you to confidently engage with others at all levels
• Demonstrate a sound level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
