Position Overview
The Pine School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Varsity Track & Field Coach to join our athletic staff. This individual will provide strong leadership, mentorship, and vision for our track & field program. The position will work collaboratively with the head varsity track & field coach to ensure alignment, continuity, and sustained growth across all levels.

The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable track & field coach who is committed to developing players both on and off the track, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As part of our close-knit PINE community, this coach will play an important role in helping student-athletes grow in confidence, character, and competitive spirit while contributing to the overall success of the track & field program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coaching Track & field (school-based, collegiate, club, or related setting)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Works well independently and as part of a greater team
• Professional, flexible, and solution-oriented

Physical Requirements

• The role requires working in both office environments and outdoor athletic venues, often in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to sit or stand at a desk while working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move equipment, boxes, or materials, usually ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
• This position may require working evenings and weekends for athletic events.
