Assistant VP Internal Audit

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead the internal audit team to conduct statutory audits, risk assessments, and control reviews across various business units.
• Develop and implement effective audit plans, procedures, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify areas of improvement in finance processes and provide recommendations for enhancement.
• Ensure timely completion of audits, submission of findings to stakeholders, and implementation of corrective actions.

Job Requirements :

• 12-16 years of experience in accounting/auditing profession with a focus on corporate finance or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS), tax laws (e.g., VAT), and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel II).
• Proven track record in managing teams through complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of risk management principles and practices.
