Assistant Waiter

Job Summary:

The Red Ginger, Colva, is looking for a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Waiter to support the restaurant's food and beverage service operations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and deliver excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist waiters in providing efficient and courteous service to guests.
• Help prepare the restaurant for service by arranging tables, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
• Assist in serving food and beverages to guests as instructed by senior service staff.
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for the next guests.
• Ensure that the dining area, service stations, and restaurant equipment are clean and well-maintained.
• Replenish cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other service essentials.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely food delivery.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and communicate any concerns to the senior team.
• Follow restaurant service procedures and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Handle restaurant equipment carefully and report any breakages or maintenance issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or service supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food and beverage service or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic understanding of restaurant service standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and discipline.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 per month
