Assistant Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and delivery.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper control of stock movement.
• Monitor order fulfilment and ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock checks and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Ensure all warehouse transactions are properly recorded in the ERP system.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Product and Logistics teams.
• Prepare operational reports and support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Responsible, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the ICT or electronics distribution industry is an added advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; candidate with ability to communicate with Mandarin speaking internal teams is an advantage.
