ASSISTANT WIREMAN

About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Wireman to support electrical maintenance and repair work across our estate facilities and equipment. You will work with the Wireman or maintenance team to keep electrical systems operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, maintenance, installation and repair of electrical wiring, lighting, distribution boards, pumps and other estate equipment.
• Help identify electrical faults and carry out repairs under appropriate supervision.
• Perform routine checks and record maintenance work completed.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and report hazards or equipment defects promptly.
• Support other maintenance duties when required.

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance is preferred. Candidates with practical skills who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work at an estate location and respond to maintenance needs when required.
• Responsible, safety conscious and able to work with a team.
• A valid wireman competency certificate is an advantage, but is not required for this assistant role.
