Job Summary:

The Assistant Workshop Manager is responsible for supporting the Workshop Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Maruti Suzuki service workshop at Kumar Automobiles, Keonjhar. The role involves supervising technicians, ensuring timely vehicle servicing and repairs, maintaining service quality, monitoring workshop productivity, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in accordance with Maruti Suzuki service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Workshop Manager in managing daily workshop operations and workflow.
• Supervise technicians, mechanics, and workshop staff to ensure efficient vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Monitor vehicle job cards, repair progress, and delivery timelines to ensure on-time vehicle delivery.
• Ensure quality control of all repair and maintenance work as per Maruti Suzuki standards.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, technicians, spare parts, and the customer care team for smooth operations.
• Handle technical issues, escalated customer complaints, and service-related concerns professionally.
• Monitor workshop productivity, technician efficiency, bay utilization, and overall performance.
• Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor repeat repairs and customer feedback and take corrective action to improve service quality.
• Support the Workshop Manager in achieving workshop revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational targets.
• Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates on pending jobs, vehicle status, and workshop performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in an automobile service workshop, preferably in a Maruti Suzuki or other four-wheeler dealership.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and workshop operations.
• Good leadership, communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
