Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in coordinating daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, service, and staff scheduling.
• Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
• Support food safety protocols, proper food handling, and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
• Help manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to prevent shortages.
• Contribute to training staff on food production, cooking techniques, and hospitality best practices.
• Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between different times of the day.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in food production, cooking, or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong management skills with previous supervising or leadership experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in restaurant management, including shift supervision and team coordination.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques, catering, banquet operations, and food industry standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
