We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the pivotal role of Assistant Manager at our thriving community pub.

This position involves overseeing all daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and fostering a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. You will play a key part in a pub for its focus on sports, entertainment, and great food and drinks, especially our popular garden, which is a main attraction in the local area.

As a hands-on manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily business activities and operational efficiency.
• Maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Leading, motivating, and developing our dedicated team.
• Working closely with the managing partner to drive growth and enhance our community presence.
• Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality at all times

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Experience with beverage service is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Cellar experience/ knowledge
