Ansell is looking for Assoc Analyst, Cost Accounting to join our team in Seremban!

In this position you will play a vital role in support costing, inventory, and reporting activities by maintaining accurate cost data, assisting in cost analysis, and ensuring timely financial reporting to support manufacturing operations and business performance

What your role will be?

• Assist in maintaining standard costs for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in the ERP system
• Support the preparation of costing reports and perform basic analysis of actual versus standard cost variances
• Maintain costing master data, including Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, and product costing information, ensuring data accuracy
• Support month-end closing activities related to inventory valuation, costing reports, and account reconciliations
• Assist in monitoring material, labour, and manufacturing overhead costs and investigate variances where required
• Prepare routine costing and inventory reports for management revie
• Support new product costing activities by gathering and updating relevant cost information
• Assist in annual standard cost updates and cost roll-up exercises
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock take activities, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation of inventory records
• Support inventory control activities by monitoring inventory movements and identifying discrepancies for follow-up
• Assist in preparing data and analysis for budgeting and forecasting exercises
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements

• Assist in ad-hoc task or reporting as required by superior and support other functions within the Finance Department.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Professional Qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• Minimum 2 years related working experience
• Computer literate with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledgeable in full sets of accounts.
• Knowledgeable in accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate across all levels internally/externally
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-tasking.
