Associate Accountant, Fund Accounting

Position Overview

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Accountant to support fund accounting activities, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review fund accounting records and financial data
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support financial statements and management reports
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records
• Review transactions and ensure proper classification
• Collaborate with accounting and investment teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Fund accounting or financial-services experience is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
