Associate Actuary, Pricing

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Actuary, Pricing to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will support pricing efforts by analyzing claims experience, utilization trends, and external market factors to help shape actuarial assumptions. The Associate Actuary will partner closely with business stakeholders and leadership to translate data-driven findings into clear recommendations. This position also plays a growing role in influencing department strategy, with a particular focus on Medicare Part D trends and related healthcare utilization dynamics.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,900 – $147,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical claims experience and emerging utilization patterns
• Leverage actuarial models and analytical tools to generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate utilization assumptions
• Monitor external factors affecting drug utilization patterns
• Communicate findings to business partners and leadership
• Begin to influence department strategy with expertise on Medicare Part D trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• MAAA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills
