Associate & Inventory Controller

Job Summary

The Associate & Inventory Controller is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the store's back-end processes, ensuring that inventory is accurately received, stored, and organized.

Job Responsibilities

Receiving and Processing Shipments

• Receive incoming merchandise shipments, verifying quantities and quality against packing slips or purchase orders
• Unpack boxes, sort merchandise, and ensure accurate labeling and identification

Stockroom Organization and Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment
• Ensure that merchandise is properly stored and labeled for easy retrieval
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves or displays as needed

Inventory Management

• Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and collaborate with management to implement appropriate strategies

Fulfillment and Order Processing

• Prepare merchandise for outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and labelling
• Assist with processing online orders or store pickups, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment

Assisting Front-of-House Operations

• Support front-of-house colleague with retrieving merchandise for customers, as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to address inventory-related inquiries or issues.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in a retail or warehouse environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
