Associate - Artificial Intelligent/Machine Learning

Job Purpose

In this role, you will primarily focus on providing huge potential for exposure to different industries and opportunity to drive AI use cases across group businesses. You will collaborate closely with team members from AI & ML, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure team and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate/collaborate with project stakeholders to identify AI and Big Data project opportunities to deliver business value.

· Articulate business challenges and define project roadmap to help business embark on AI & Big Data journey.

· Design, develop and deploy AI & ML solutions.

· Be innovative and creative in problem solving to improve the performance of AI & ML model deployed.

· Develop automation solutions and scripts using Python and other programming languages.

· Build AI-powered solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies.

· Evaluate and optimize AI solution performance.

· Work with different IT departments to devise techniques and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational IT standards.

· Communicate ideas, project updates pro-actively with team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Familiar with various cloud platforms for AI & ML model training and deployment.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or equivalent.

· Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken)

· Working experience in AI Engineer or equivalent will give added advantage.

· At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytics role.

Required Technical Skills

· Programming knowledge: Python, SQL, PySpark

· AI & ML experience with libraries like: Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, Pandas

· Database knowledge: NoSQL, Vector Database, PostgreSQL

· Knowledge on Django, FastAPI, Svelte, Kubernetes, Docker as an added advantage

· Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, such as Codex, LLM-based tools, Google AI, or Gemini, to support and accelerate code development.

Desirable Experience

· Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory, .NET, Node.js or equivalent enterprise technologies.

· Strong hands-on Python experience is required.

· Experience using Python libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, or similar packages for advanced analytics and data science.

· Working knowledge of AI technologies, including:

o Generative AI

o Large Language Models (LLMs)

o Agentic AI

o Prompt Engineering

o RAG Architectures

· Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
