An established Texas litigation firm is growing and looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team. If you're looking for a role where you'll do more than manage files, this is an opportunity to handle cases from day one through trial while working alongside experienced trial attorneys. You'll work on a diverse caseload that includes Medical Malpractice, Trucking, General Liability, Products Liability, and other civil defense matters. Whether you already have insurance defense experience or are looking to continue building your litigation career, you'll have the support and case volume to keep developing your skills.

What You'll Do

• Manage your own litigation caseload.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Work with clients, insurance carriers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial and continue building your courtroom experience.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Texas law license.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.

Preferred

• Insurance defense experience.
• Experience with Medical Malpractice, Trucking, General Liability, or Products Liability.
• Trial, hearing, or deposition experience.
