Corporate M&A Associate

A nationally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate with 3+ years of mergers and acquisitions experience to join its growing transactional practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated middle-market and large-scale transactions alongside a highly regarded corporate team. The firm has a particularly robust flow of corporate and M&A work and is open to candidates located in any of its listed office locations.

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions
• Conduct and manage due diligence reviews in connection with M&A matters
• Assist clients through all phases of complex transactions
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide strategic business counseling
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions
• Strong experience drafting and reviewing transaction documents
• Due diligence experience in support of M&A transactions
• Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and business professionals in a collaborative environment
• Active bar admission in the state where you practice (or eligibility to waive in)
