Associate Attorney

A well-established law firm in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm has a broad civil practice with opportunities across multiple practice areas, including commercial real estate, construction/design, corporate & business, government relations, eminent domain, land use & project development, licensing, marital & family law, mediation, trial practice, and wills, trusts & probate.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with partners and senior attorneys
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents depending on practice area
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, or closings as applicable
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and counsel

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 1+ years of experience in a civil practice area (litigation, transactional, real estate, or family law backgrounds all considered)
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $140,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
