Associate Attorney

Ferguson Law Firm, LLP in Beaumont, Texas, is hiring an Associate Attorney to work directly with a litigation partner. Ideal applicants will have between 1 - 4 years of work experience, strong writing skills, be highly organized, and punctual.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Drafting correspondence.
• Motion practice, including attendance at hearings.
• Taking depositions.
• Efile/Eserve legal documents and discovery.
• Communicate and respond to clients’ questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintaining hard and electronic files for each client.

Job Requirements:

• Doctor of Jurisprudence
• Licensed and Eligible to Practice in Texas; additional states are a plus.
• 1-4 years of work experience
• Willingness to Travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
