Associate Attorney – Litigation

Location: El Segundo, CA and Huntington Beach, CA Salary: $130,000–$190,000 Job Type: Full-time

We are hiring an Associate Attorney to support our employment law and litigation practice in El Segundo, CA. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent writing ability, and experience handling employment matters, workplace disputes, or general litigation.

Candidates with 6+ years of experience may be considered for Senior Associate-level opportunities based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Manage employment law and litigation cases from intake through resolution
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Prepare discovery responses and document review
• Provide guidance on workplace policies, compliance, and investigations
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines consistently

Qualifications

• Active California Bar License (required)
• 3-5+ years of experience in employment law, litigation, or related practice areas
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Professional communication and client‑facing experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workplace investigations
• Knowledge of California labor and employment regulations
• Courtroom or deposition experience

Compensation

$130,000 – $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
