Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law and regulations, patent law, personal injury law, and general litigation. The Associate Attorney will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal counsel, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings. Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing case strategies.
• Represent clients across various practice areas.
• Engage in client communication to understand their needs, provide updates, and explain legal options clearly.
• Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to ensure timely progression of cases.
• Support attorneys with procedural law knowledge and statutory legal research to uphold compliance and procedural integrity.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required with ability to be licensed in MN or MT within the next six months.
• Proven experience or internship in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, employment law, personal injury law, or general litigation.
• Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
• Excellent legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues with professionalism and confidence while maintaining strong client communication.
