Associate Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, including family law and juvenile work, and will be responsible for managing a variety of legal tasks related to client representation and courtroom proceedings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal expertise while working on impactful cases within a supportive environment.

This is a great position for newly licensed or limited experience attorneys. We love to help mentor and grow new attorneys.

Duties

• Handle litigation cases with a focus on family law and juvenile matters, ensuring thorough case management from inception to resolution
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates, legal advice, and addressing their concerns throughout the legal process
• Prepare for trial by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and developing case strategies
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including court depositions, hearings, and trials
• Conduct research on relevant laws and precedents to support case development
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation and adherence to deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of case activities and documentation in compliance with legal standards

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience in litigation, particularly in family law and juvenile work is preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom advocacy
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while paying close attention to detail
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
