Full job description

Small Syracuse area litigation firm is looking for an Associate with 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment or personal injury law, to support a growing legal practice. The Associate would mainly focus on discrimination, wage and hour theft, and personal injury litigation.

This position involves an opportunity to learn about the business of operating a law firm and an equity position in the future. The Associate will handle intellectually engaging matters, work directly with clients, and build long-term expertise in employment and labor relations law.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Bar admission and good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to counsel and advocate effectively for clients.
• Experience with employment litigation, administrative proceedings, investigations, compliance, or labor relations is highly valued.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
