Associate Attorney

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Job description:

Successful and thriving business and real estate law firm celebrating over 40 years in Orange County seeks litigation attorney for a growing department. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience but new admittees to the California State Bar are also encouraged to apply as we are willing to train/mentor the right candidate. This is a newly created position to meet the demands of an increased workload. Salary, generous bonus plans, and competitive benefits package are included. Work/life balance is important to us and therefore, billable hours are reasonable. We also offer optional in-house CLE training. Our state-of-the-art building overlooks Orange County and is centrally located by multiple freeways and John Wayne Airport.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and filing pleadings and discovery
• Appearances both in-person and remote
• Depositions
• Working cases from beginning to end

Skills / Licenses

• Proven experience as a litigation attorney or law clerk
• Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative manner
• Trustworthy and collegial
• Knowledge of MS Office / Office 365
• Valid California State Bar License (Current w/ MCLE Hours)

Must have reliable transportation to attend court hearings.
