Welcome to Pond Lehocky Giordano, Pennsylvania’s largest and most accomplished Workers’ Compensation law firm. We are seeking highly motivated attorneys with 0–5 years of experience who are passionate about advocating for injured workers.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys at any stage of their early career, including recent law school graduates and experienced attorneys looking to grow their practice. Workers’ Compensation experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer, an effective communicator, and a team player who is eager to learn from some of the best attorneys in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Draft legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Review and analyze medical records, medical claims, and Bureau documents.
• Conduct trial depositions, including medical and fact-witness depositions, as appropriate to experience level.
• Manage hearings and take testimony, as appropriate to experience level.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Travel as necessary for discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and team members to achieve favorable outcomes.

Background & Experience:

• 0–5 years of experience practicing law; candidates with relevant internships, clerkships, or other applicable legal experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare persuasive legal briefs and present compelling legal arguments.
• Interest in litigation and advocating for injured workers.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Workers’ Compensation experience, on either the plaintiff or defense side, is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with Litify or other legal case management software is a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and active membership in good standing, or eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania admission as applicable to the candidate’s circumstances.
• Willingness to travel as needed for depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
