What they need

Are You a Problem-Solver with a Purpose – and a Life Beyond the Office?

Imagine a career that values not only your drive to find solutions and your empathy for clients; but also values and encourages your commitment to work-life balance. At Lubin Pham + Caplin LLP, we’re not just a law firm – we’re a lifestyle firm.

We’re looking for an Associate Attorney who thrives on challenges, values balance and creativity, and seeks a supportive environment where your time outside the office is just as respected as your time inside it. Does this sound like you?

If you’re the kind of attorney who brings a proactive, compassionate, and ambitious approach to every case – and wants to do it at a firm that values your well-being and creativity – then LPC could be the perfect fit for you.

Why Lubin Pham +Caplin?

At Lubin Pham + Caplin LLP, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic, supportive environment that values learning, collaboration, and innovation. Our partners bring years of high-stakes experience, representing some of the largest clients nationwide and managing complex cases from pre-litigation through appeals. Here, you’ll hone your skills under the mentorship of seasoned attorneys, learning to litigate, research, write persuasively, and negotiate effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Work alongside LPC attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of civil litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and craft compelling motions.
  • Participate in hearings, depositions, and trial preparation, often second or third-chairing in court.
  • Strengthen your writing skills with guidance from skilled mentors – no worries if you’re not a strong writer yet, just bring your enthusiasm to grow!

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • License: California bar admission.
  • Experience: Civil experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; writing proficiency is a plus.
  • Attitude: Ready to learn, adaptable, detail and solution-focused, and resilient in a high-energy, high-stakes environment.

What You’ll Gain

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary ($90k – $170k), plus bonuses.
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, flexible vacation/PTO Policy.
  • Growth: A fast-paced, collegial setting that offers mentorship, ownership of cases, and a real partner-track path.
  • Financial Security: 401(k) with employer matching.
  • Remote Work Environment: While this is a fully remote position, candidates must live in the Southern California area.
