Associate Attorney - Entry Level

Pérez Law is a workers' compensation and personal injury applicant firm serving injured workers across California with offices in Ontario and Pomona. We're looking for a new grad or early-career attorney who wants time in the courtroom and hands-on training in a client-focused law firm.

What you'll be doing:

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations
• Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build cases
• Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers
• Work alongside case managers and legal assistants who support your caseload administratively
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA workers’ comp regulations

Required:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active member, California State Bar, in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills

Preferred:

• Any exposure to CA workers' compensation law (internship, clerkship, etc.) — not required
• Comfort with legal case management software; comfortable in an Apple/Mac environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation: Starting $100,000 plus base DOE plus settlement incentive bonus
