Associate Attorney - Litigation

We are working with a litigation firm in Los Angeles, California, looking for a Civil Litigation Attorney to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of civil litigation matters, including business disputes, general liability, and related litigation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of civil litigation experience
• Experience handling general liability, business disputes, and related litigation matters
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California
• Must live in or near Los Angeles, California

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Represent clients in civil disputes and related litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
• Handle depositions, court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations

The annual salary for this position is between $160K-$215K . Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
