BANKING AND FINANCE ASSOCIATE – LUXEMBOURG

My client, a well known international law firm, is currently looking to recruit a Banking and Finance lawyer to join their Team in Luxembourg.

They are one of the leading global law firms and are highly regarded in Banking & Finance law in Luxembourg. Their lawyers advise a large number of national and international clients with a focus on the financial, real estate and energy sectors.

The role

• Assist clients on financial and regulatory matters including capital markets, securitisation and international financing arrangements (clients are financial institutions and international corporates)
• Assist clients on a wide range of banking & finance transactions such as corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, project finance and public-private partnerships (PPP), structured finance and securitisations.
• Assist financial institutions on all aspects of their regulated activities, including contacts with the regulators, application for licenses, launch of new products or services, corporate governance, compliance matters and M&A in the financial sector.

You

• Degree/Masters Degree in Law
• Fluency in English and ideally German and/or French.
• Admitted to the Bar ideally in Luxembourg or be eligible to be admitted
• 2-4 years experience in a law firm in Luxembourg within their banking/finance practice.
• Capital markets expertise will be greatly advantageous.
• Excellent legal and analytical skills
• Willing to learn and grow
• Business minded with an eye for pragmatic solutions
• Able to prioritise and manage effectively multiple tasks
• Empathic team player
