Associate Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from relevant stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications (BRDs, user stories, use cases).
• Review and validate documentation with stakeholders to confirm accuracy and alignment before proceeding.

Business Process Analysis & Improvement

• Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create process maps, workflows, user stories, and use cases to document current and future states.
• Propose practical, measurable improvements and work with stakeholders to implement streamlined solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Management

• Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to ensure continuous alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle conflicting requirements by facilitating discussions, prioritising based on business value and impact, and building consensus.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and data teams to deliver effective solutions.

Data Analysis & Decision Support

• Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to identify trends, insights, and performance metrics.
• Validate data accuracy and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support strategic decision-making.

Testing, Validation & Implementation Support

• Support testing and validation activities for new systems, features, or process enhancements.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), review test cases, and ensure delivered solutions meet business acceptance criteria.
• Support deployment and post-implementation review activities.

Agile / Scrum Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to define and prioritise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood and maintained throughout each sprint cycle.

Experience:
1–2 years

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy, completeness, and stakeholder sign-off rate of business requirements documentation.

• Defect rate traceable to requirements gaps or miscommunication during UAT and production.

• Timeliness of requirements delivery and process improvement recommendations.

• Quality and actionability of data analysis reports and dashboards.

• Stakeholder satisfaction ratings on collaboration, communication, and clarity.

• On-time completion of BA deliverables per sprint and project milestones.

• Backlog health — clarity and readiness of user stories prior to sprint planning.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
