Associate Buyer

About the role

As Buyer for Electronics or FMCG, you will be at the heart of driving profitable growth and building strategic brand partnerships that fuel the 1P Retail business. This role goes beyond category management, you will shape how commercial strategy strengthens brand relationships, optimizes assortment, and delivers sustainable profitability in one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing e-commerce markets.

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maintain healthy profit margins while staying competitive
• Manage P&L, cost structures, and promotional budgets to maximize profitability
• Secure brand funding for platform promotions, including co-marketing initiatives, vouchers, installment plans (IPP), and exclusive deals
• Own brand relationships and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
• Lead Business Planning with top electronics/FMCG brands to drive growth
• Negotiate for exclusive product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand investments
• Optimize assortment planning, ensuring a strong mix of hero SKUs and new product introductions
• Monitor sell-through rates, stock levels, and Days of Inventory (DOI) to maintain a healthy balance
• Partner with marketing, operations, and finance teams to execute brand and profitability strategies
• Collaborate with platform teams to leverage data-driven insights for demand forecasting and pricing optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in eCommerce, Retail, FMCG, EL, or Category Management
• Strong understanding of P&L management, demand planning, and commercial negotiations
• Proven ability to work with brands and suppliers to negotiate win-win deals
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel or similar platforms) is a plus
• Agile, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Fluent in both Thai and English
