About the role

This vacancy is for Kenanga Investors Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, an award-winning leading independent investment bank in the country with a continuous commitment towards driving collaboration, innovation, digitalisation and sustainability in the marketplace. The role is responsible for ensuring the smoothness of Investor Services' daily operational flow and delivering a positive customer experience to clients, advisers, staff and branches over the counter, telephone and via emails.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and timely manner
• Respond to clients/advisers' enquiries, requests, or complaints effectively and escalate complex cases when necessary
• Execute special tasks assigned and handle ad-hoc projects as and when the need arises
• Initiate customer servicing quality improvement programs
• Work closely within the Operations Department to highlight and resolve operational issues
• Initiate changes and constantly look for new ideas to improve customer service and work processes
• Back-up other team members when the need arises and relieve branch staff in branches nationwide

About you

• Degree holder in any discipline
• At least 1-2 years' experience in the same or relevant industry
• Prior experience in a customer service and/or call center environment is an advantage
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Mandarin speaker would be an added advantage
