Associate Clinician

Job Summary

Real Talk Therapy & Consultation is looking for a motivated Associate (AMFT/APCC/ASW) to join a growing practice focused on community impact, personal growth, and accessible mental health care. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their caseload with support in referrals, supervision, and administrative operations.

Responsibilities include

• providing individual therapy (telehealth and limited in-person)

• completing documentation

• collaborating as part of a supportive team

Details:

• $45–$60 per clinical hour equivalent, depending on experience, caseload, and pay structure (W-2 vs. contractor)

• Liability Insurance: Clinicians must carry their own professional liability insurance and provide proof prior to starting.

• Employment Status: Role is transitioning toward a W-2 structure.

• Supervision: Clinicians are responsible for maintaining and tracking their own supervised hours (if applicable).

• This is a hybrid/telehealth-based role with opportunities for in-person work (groups, community events, and barbershop/podcast initiatives).

• Preferred Experience: Working with men, trauma, or underserved communities, comfort with community-based work (groups, outreach, and conversations).

Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and maintain active registration in good standing.

Supervision may be provided as part of the position or coordinated as needed.
