Your position

Apricum’s investment banking business is growing fast, and we need more M&A execution capacity to support our clients in driving the energy transition. We are looking for an Associate in our Berlin team whose personal growth can keep pace with ours. We are highly collaborative and promote only team players.

You will work with corporates, investment funds and growth companies on asset and corporate M&A or private capital markets mandates, in close collaboration with the managing partner.

This role is home-based, ideally in or near Berlin, working with colleagues across our team and senior advisor network in person as needed and virtually day to day. For an outstanding candidate, we would consider other European locations. We invest in regular in-person gatherings to keep our culture strong despite our distributed way of working.

Your profile

Please make sure you meet these key requirements before applying.

• You do not need cleantech expertise, but you do need corporate finance excellence. Transaction experience and structuring skills are key, and high financial modelling standards are expected
• You typically hold an MBA or CFA and have 3-6 years’ experience in corporate (not project) finance at a respected bank or advisory boutique. You may be a top performer from another industry team looking for a more meaningful move into cleantech
• You are detail-oriented, well organized and process-driven, with experience in asset, corporate or equity transactions
• You speak and write German at a native level. This is mandatory
• You have a strong interest in energy topics and enthusiasm for the energy transition
• You bring a collaborative, hands-on attitude. We succeed because of our high standards, and we ask for evidence that you share them
