What they need
- CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
- Proactively identify problem areas and organize support for manufacturing with root cause analysis and process improvement that supports a lean environment
- Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance
- Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Provide reports as necessary to appropriate staff
- Observe and learn Ascentec's procedures and documentation
- Maintains good housekeeping practices
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time
- Experience working in the contract manufacturing industry is a plus
- Education: Diploma in Engineering is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards applicable to engineering projects.
