Associate - Compliance (AML - Mandarin Speaking)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the team to process all compliance screening that are outsourced to the department according to the agreed Standard Operating Procedure and guidelines.
• Assist in the implementation of an effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Framework to ensure compliance with AML regulations and Group Compliance policies.
• To carry out screening and reviewing activities in order to ensure compliance with regulatory and AIA HK requirements and to reduce any reputational, legal and financial risk.
• Provide support to liaise with Hong Kong team and ensure their requests and queries are promptly responded.
• Assist to oversee the operations team in OSS office and ensure they are well-coordinated. Issues are promptly escalated to key Management where appropriate.
• Ensure task assigned are being processed accurately with prudent risk assessment being performed and within the agreed TAT and Quality as documented in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the business partner.

Job Requirements:

• A recognized tertiary Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
• Fluent in spoken English and Chinese. Candidates with proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will have an added advantage. Passing SPM Chinese is a mandatory requirement.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• The role is required to follow the Hong Kong working calendar and need to work for overtime if needed (with OT pay).
• Willing to work in Tower 1, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
