Associate Consultant - Incentive Compensation Plan Design

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and model incentive compensation plans aligned with commercial objectives, sales strategies, eligibility rules, performance measures, and payout curves.
• Build scenario analyses and what-if models to evaluate plan effectiveness, fairness, payout distribution, and financial impact.
• Develop and manage sales incentive contests, SPIFs, tactical bonus programs, eligibility criteria, metrics, and payout calculations.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, validate, and analyze sales, territory, performance, and incentive compensation data.
• Perform plan health checks, identify anomalies and outliers, monitor commercial KPI alignment, and prepare recurring dashboards and management insights.
• Maintain plan rules, calculation logic, exceptions, approvals, change requests, FAQs, and supporting documentation for governance and audit readiness.

Skills Required:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in incentive compensation plan design, sales incentive operations, incentive analytics, or related consulting work; life sciences or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with incentive compensation, sales incentives, incentive calculation, or incentive plan design.
• Working knowledge of SAP Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) or comparable incentive compensation platforms.
• Strong SQL capability for data extraction, validation, business-rule implementation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Ability to translate incentive rules into calculation logic and investigate data quality issues, payout anomalies, and performance trends.

Good to Have:

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or MS SQL.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
