Qualification

• DNB / DrNB in Urology from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Fellowship or additional training in a specialized area of Urology will be an advantage.

Experience

• Relevant experience in Urology after completion of DNB/DrNB.
• Experience in a reputed hospital/healthcare setup preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with urological conditions.
• Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and follow-ups.
• Assist and independently perform urological procedures and surgeries as per clinical expertise.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, OT, ICU, and other clinical departments for integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, case sheets, and medical records.
• Participate in emergency and on-call services as per hospital requirements.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection-control practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, clinical discussions, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Support academic activities, case presentations, and training of junior medical staff when required.
