The Opportunity
This is a newly created role, driven by growth in Milford's fixed income allocation. You'll join a tight, high performing team, and enjoy a clear development pathway that will equip you to take ownership of your research outputs and contribute to portfolio discussions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis across Australasian (and eventually global) companies, synthesising your research into clear investment views.
• Maintain a coverage list and consider new transactions as they arise.
• Write concise, decision-focused investment notes.
• Support the Portfolio Manager on positioning and risk considerations, and contribute to Investment Committee materials.

About You
This position suits Analysts with:

• 1–3 years' experience, ideally including credit analysis gained in corporate & institutional banking, transaction services or restructuring, fund management, or similar.
• Business acumen supported by strong quantitative skills.
• Thoughtful and concise communication: you’re able to distil deep analysis into clear, considered views.
• A collaborative mindset, and a proactive and action-oriented attitude.
• A passion for learning, investing, and a career in fixed income.
