About Us and the Role:

BestSmile Dental Clinic is a growing dental healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred dental care in a professional and welcoming environment.

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our team and grow with us.

You will provide safe, ethical and patient-centred general dental care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment delivery, referral and follow-up care. You will work closely with Principal Dentists, other dentists and the clinic support team to deliver a positive patient experience and maintain high standards of clinical care.

What You Will Do?

• Assess & Diagnose — Conduct consultations, examinations and diagnostic assessments; establish diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Treat & Refer — Provide general dental treatment, manage dental emergencies, and arrange timely specialist referrals when needed
• Communicate & Educate — Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, costs and obtain informed consent; provide oral-health education and post-treatment advice
• Document & Coordinate — Maintain accurate clinical records, prepare referrals and reports, and coordinate with laboratories and referral practitioners
• Ensure Safety & Compliance — Comply with infection-prevention, sterilization, PPE and patient-safety protocols; report incidents and safety concerns promptly
• Maintain Clinical Quality — Apply evidence-based dentistry, maintain MDC registration and APC, and participate in CPD, audits and quality-improvement activities
• Collaborate & Contribute — Work closely with Principal Dentists, dentists, Dental Surgery Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators; support clinic initiatives and team development

Requirements:

• BDS or equivalent recognised by MDC
• Fully registered with MDC with a valid APC
• Newly registered dentists are encouraged to apply
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, responsible and patient-focused
• English & Malay required; Mandarin is an advantage
• Willing to work weekends according to clinic operating schedule
• Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining professional competency

Working Hours

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• 6 working days | Fixed off day: Wednesday
