Associate Dentist

Associate Dentist – 1–2 Days Per Week Caernarfon, North Wales | Smile Society

Looking for an extra day or two somewhere you’ll actually enjoy working? Or perhaps you’ve been thinking about swapping the commute and city life for mountains, beaches and the North Wales coast?

We’re looking for an Associate Dentist to join our friendly and growing team at Caernarfon Dental Practice, part of Smile Society.

This is an exciting time to join us. We’re growing our existing patient book, expanding the practice and investing in its future, including two new surgeries and an upcoming refurbishment.

We’re looking for someone for 1–2 days per week, making this a great opportunity for an established dentist looking to add an extra day or two to their working week, or someone considering relocating to North Wales who would like to start gradually and build from there.

A practice with exciting plans

We’re a friendly, established family practice, but we're certainly not standing still.

Alongside general family dentistry, we're continuing to develop our cosmetic dentistry, implants and orthodontic services, creating opportunities for clinicians who would like to develop their interests and be part of a growing modern practice.

Smile Society is growing too, and we want our clinicians to feel part of that journey, with the support of a wider group while retaining the friendly, personal atmosphere of a local practice.

For us, culture matters. We want people who are kind, approachable and supportive, who care about their patients and who want to work with a team that enjoys coming to work.

And then there’s North Wales…

If you've ever thought about relocating, Caernarfon offers a fairly special work/life balance.

You're surrounded by some of the most beautiful parts of North Wales, with Eryri (Snowdonia), the Menai Strait and the Llŷn Peninsula all within easy reach.

Whether your time outside work involves walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, sailing, boating, paddleboarding, beaches or simply getting outside, there's an enormous amount on your doorstep.

You can finish your clinical day and genuinely feel like you've left work behind.

We’d love to hear from you if…

You’re a dentist looking for one or two additional days, considering a move to North Wales, or simply curious about whether Smile Society might be the right next step.

You don't necessarily need to be actively job hunting.

Come and have a coffee, meet the team and have a look around. Sometimes the best opportunities start with a conversation.
