Associate Dentist

Mill Lane Dental Centre, part of the Au Dental Group, is looking to engage an Associate to join our 6 surgery practice with a highly experienced, energetic and forward-looking team.

We are part of a family-owned dental group currently with 10 practices undergoing a group expansion. The group is supported by a finance and marketing department; and focuses heavily on clinical development through it’s development programme - Au Evolve. A number of specialists work in our group from endodontists to implantologists and oral surgeons. Our vision is to make every practice a Specialist Centre that focuses on the patient experience.

Role:

• Days - flexible - open to 3-5 days per week and Private Saturdays optional
• 3000-5000 NHS UDAs on offer (depending on days)
• Established well-maintained NHS and private patient list

The Practice:

• An experienced and supportive single-site practice manager with a previous dental background
• £12,000+ spent on marketing monthly e.g. Google Ads
• Trio Scanner at the practice
• Fully digitalised currently using iPads in every surgery
• A strong Clinical team spearheaded by the Clinical Advisor
• Long-serving, dedicated and highly experienced team

Development opportunities within the group:

• Option to go on a 6-week ethical sales and communication course
• Regular catch-ups with the Clinical Advisor
• Au Evolve, our own training initiative compromising of the opportunity to shadow, attend peer reviews and our annual conference.
• Associate Development Scheme - course contribution of up to £1,000 available.
• Courses with Nik Sethi, Elevate Dental
• Work with clinicians in our group to develop short term orthodontics skills.
• Opportunity to train to provide sedation
• Observe and develop from an experienced minor oral surgeon
• Observe and learn implant dentistry from our in-house implantologist

Equipment

• Sectional matrix for use in posterior composites
• Use of a Trio Scanner (within the practice)
• Practice offers Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery plus Hygienist and Therapist usage.
• Intraoral Cameras

All candidates must be registered with the GDC and have an active performer number.
