Associate Design Engineer

About the role

Prepare Audio Visual System Design BOM and Security/Structured Cabling System Design BOM. Understand written and verbal instructions, interpret project briefs and meet with clients, engineers, and architects. Present and explain designs to clients, provide estimated costs for installation, and create solution presentations based on client requirements and solution recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Audio Visual System Design BOM
• Understand written and verbal instructions, and interpret project briefs and meet with clients, engineers, and architects
• Coordinate with the team for accuracy of details
• Present and explain the design to client
• Provide Security/Structured Cabling System Design BOM
• Provide estimated cost for installation of Security/Structured Cabling System
• Create Solution Summary of designed Security/Structured Cabling System
• Create line diagram for Security/Structured Cabling System
• Create solution presentations based on the client's requirement and solution recommendation

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Fresh graduates are still welcome to apply
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in drafting works
• Able to communicate (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Good Level in any related electrical engineering/drafting software such as AutoCAD, MEP, Revit, etc.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Attention to detail
• Capable of handling multiple projects with different milestones/deadlines managed by a variety of different personalities
